Charlene
Intro There are many worlds of Pokemon. There is the one in which humans and Pokemon work together. There is also the one in which there are only pokemon, and brave Rescue Teams keep order. But thier is yet another one, in which the pokemon live like humans. This story takes place in this world. Although the story is in the world of the Poke Sapiens, it starts in the world of human and pokemon partnership. It begins with a small Charmander, running away from a scolding human... She ran as fast she could, looking behind her shoulder every now and again. She was rummaing through cans, she had no other way of obtaining food. It was tough being a trainerless Pokemon in these times. She had a special skill that could get her away from this. Her claws were imbuded with energy that could trancend worlds, but she was afraid to use it. She sighed, this world obviously didn't want her. Her claws became aglow, and she scratched a hole. She charged through it, only to be surrounded by Gallade in a dark forest. They all wore dark armour, and had monocles. She laughed, and they boxed her in. Her eyes seem to be flames themselves as she was surrounded suddenly by five powerful jets of flame. She held her head and screamed, it always hurt her when she used Blast Burn, she was hurt by it more than usual because she was premature. She passed out from the pain. The Gallade were knocked a reasonable distance away. When she awoke, she was laying on a bed. She was also wearing a simple dress with a plaid red and white design. She looked up to see a kindly Charizard looming above her. "Okay dear?" she asked. "Yeah..." she said. "My name is Charlotte, what's yours?" The Charmander thought fast. "Charlene..." she answered. "Hm, well, I'll tell my son Charlie you're awake, he's been wanting someone to play with for awhile now." Another Charmander came barreling into the room. His attire was like that of a bug boy. Charlene turned and gave a polite curtsy to Charlotte. "May I go ma'am?" Charlotte nodded, suprised at the child's good manners. Charline and Charlie had fun running around and playing,. Charlie was practicing the flute, but he was no good at it. Suddenly, the song "Beast of the Sea" came spilling from his room. Charlotte and Charlie were confused, who was playing? Then Charlene came out, still holding the flute in her hands. She gingerly placed it in Charlie's hand, teaching him how to play. The next morning, the house was spotless. "I thought I might return the courtesy ma'am, is that alright?" Charlotte nodded again. "Why can't you be more like that?" she asked Charlie. Charlie laughed, offering thim being a boy as a reason. "Hmph, I bet Charlene could beat you, you're not as tough as you think!" Charlie barred his claws. "You think so, eh?" The resulting battle was over so fast that the cool backround music didn't even have time to start. Charlene had used Blast Burn again, and she promptly passed out. When she woke, she checked to see that the dress she'd been given didn't burn. "Sweetie, you could used Blast Burn, Fire Blast, and Flamethrower at this dress at the same time, and it wouldn't even so much as smell like smoke when it was over!" she went on to explain that all the clothes she made were that way, it was the best thing for fire-type families. But of course, all great stories have to have a conflict, eh? Such a conflict was brewing on the beach. A new Pokemon, Plaseiowar, was lurking in the dark water. It was just waiting until it could evolve to it's next form, and get land legs. Then it would make the Poke Sapiens pay for ignoring him, outcasting him. As he mulled this over, an Omanyte swam by, which he promtly ate. He was a very carvivorus Pokemon, plants were not in his diet at all. His dark shape was visible on the surface of the lake as Charlene went to pick some berries for a cake she planned on making as a thanks to Charlotte and Charlie. Plaseiowar watched, biding his time as he had for millions of years.

Re: Charlene
Bubble Trouble!
Charlene's cake was excellent, but it was ruined by a bubblebeam that came through the window. The culprit was a Marshtomp. His attire was like that of an Ace Trainer. He was subjected to being kicked into a hole made by Dimension Claws. Soon, Charlotte came in. "What's it like in this lovley world of yours, ma'am?" Charlene asked. "Well, Charlie and I came when the world of Pokemon and trainers became too much for us." She paused. "Some come when they pass on..." Right after the elypsis that ended that sentance was in finished, a cute little mew floated up the path. She wore a frilled white dress, and had a pink bow upon her head. "Aunty Dana!" Charlie cried out, dashing up the path to meet her. Charlene walked up to her. "Good day ma'am, I'm Charlene, pleased to meet you." Dana turned. "Oh hi! You must be that polite little child Charlotte was telling me about, I'm Dana." they shook hands.
Charlotte pondered something. "Just how did you come to be here?" Charlene told her how she could trancend demensions with her claws. She also explained that she came because no one in her world had cared for her. Charlotte drew her close for a hug. "Well, you've got people that care for you now, that's all that matters." Charlene's eyes brimmed with joyful tears. Suddenly, a familar bubblebeam him her to the ground. The Marshtomp stood there, leering. Charlotte subjected him to a good old fashon Steel Wing attack, while Dana treated him to her specialty, Fullon Focus. While the two continued to batter the troublesome bubblemaker, Charlie walked closer to Charlene. Without thinking, she took his hand in hers. The akwardness was broken from time to time by the Marshtomp being launched away, then reeled back in for more.
Much later, the sky was aglow with many stars. "Were the stars this lovley in your world?" asked Charlie. "No, the lights were so bright that you couldn't see them..." She slumped on the ground, laying on her side. She was soon aleep. Charlie carried her in, and placed her on the bed in the guest room. "Thanks..." she murmered before going to sleep once more. Charlie sighed, this girl was making him feel something he'd never felt before. "'s no trouble, g'night" He went to his room, thoroghly confused. Thoughts of Charlene clouded his dreams as he slowly fell alseep.
Sparing Star!
One morning, Charlene was taking a trip to the river when a Snubbull fell out of the sky. He narrowly missed hitting her. He stood, brushing himself off. Charlene was about to ask how he got there, when he said. "Now that was a rockslide! Yeah!" When he saw Charlene, he introduced himself. "Hi there, I'm Bbull, pronounced 'bubble', A.K.K. The Jaw Machine, my bite is right, and you are?" Charlene smiled wryly, she could tell she'd get along with Bbull. "I"m Charlene..." Bbull shook her hand. "Well Charlene, i've been looking for a sparring partner, you wanna go a few rounds?" Charlene's eyes widened. "M-me?" Bbull looked left, then right. "I don't see anyone else..." Charlene nodded. "Alright then!" He launched at her, teeth barred in a Thunder Fang. But he was launched by an iron tail that hit him dead-center in the face. Bbull was launched into a tree. He simply grabbed a branch, spun around, and landed on his feet. "Nice!" he said. Charlene smiled. "That was... fun..." she said. "Look, Charlene's having fun!" said Dana. "What?" Charlotte looked over to see Charlene sparring with Bbull. She was laughing and having a grand time. She sent Bbull flying with Dragon Claw, and he just rebounded off the tree and sailed toward her with Fire Fang. Charlene was subjected to a Bubblebeam. A crash followed it. "DON'T YOU EVER HURT HER!" shouted Charlie, standing over the Marshtomp. Bbull was going to leave, but Charlie looked at him. "You i'm fine with, you two are having fun, but he was trying to hurt her!" he looked down. "You're pushing it Whirlpool!" Charlene opened a demension hole and kicked him into it again.
Charlie went to her. "You okay?" he asked. "I'm fine, thanks..." said Charlene. She stood close to Charlie again, an akward silcence filled the air. A question hung on the air later that night. Many trees had fallen, and the only one who practiced on trees was Bbull. Charlotte, Charlie, and Dana stood around him in a ring, assailing him with questions. Charlene watched from afar. After awhile, she could handle it no longer. She stood in front of Charlie, who was making an advance to attack Bbull. "Charlie, I love you to peices, but if you hurt my friend, I can't say I won't fight back!" Her eyes burned like black fire as she made a stand for her friend. Bbull stood and spoke for himself. "I knew my old sparring buddy would support me!" Charlene suddenly looked torn. "Charlie, Bbull..." She dashed back into Charlotte's house, crying. Charlotte looked at Charlene and Bbull. "You two ought to be ashamed of yourselves, treating her that way!" Dana's arms were crossed as she floated. "She did nothing but give and give, and you spilt her feelings that way?" Charlie dashed after Charlene. "Wait up..." he called meekly. Bbull brushed himself off. "I do apologise for hurtin' my sparring partner, if she needs me, i'm in the swamp." he dashed off.
Charlene was still crying in her room when Charlie walked in. "I'm sorry..." he said. Charlene looked up, her eyes still full of tears. "I hate it when my friends fight..." she managed to say. Charlie walked to her, wiping her tears. She turned and hugged him. "We can't get away from fighting, can we?" she said. "No..." said Charlie. "It's something we have to do, but why do friends fight friends?" Charlie sighed. "I don't know..." Charlene stood. "I'm going to go get Bbull and go a few rounds, wanna come?" Charlie followed. "Sure..." Charlie still was confused about Charlene. She had told him she loved him in front of everyone, with no fear. Lost in his thoughts, he didn't see Plaseiowar stick his head out of the swamp and eat a Lilliep.
